“Great Customer Service”
I stayed at The Setsumon for two nights in February and had a fantastic experience. The location was excellent, and the facilities were top-notch. Most notably, the customer service was exceptional—Paige and Monique at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. Huge shoutout to them for their outstanding hospitality!

“Amazing location and cozy room!”
We stayed five nights here in early February. Our room was comfortable and warm and the view was beautiful. Rooms have private washers and dryers and there is a drying closet located just outside the room.
Staff are friendly and very helpful in organising transport, lift passes etc. The best part about the Setsumon though is its location - close to the lifts, amazing restaurants, the supermarket and the food vans.

Fabulous stay at The Setsumon; the rooms are well equipped; the location is close to chairlifts and main area of Hirafu. Staff were extremely helpful: big shout out to Chris! Will come again.

“Best location, central to everything”
Great stay at the Setsumon recently, we will definitely be back. Best location, central to everything, apartments very spacious and provision of everything you need to make your stay comfy. Only issue was the difficulty with sufficient voltage in a lot of the powerpoints to charge our various devices, which is a common issue throughout Japan and the staff helped us with lending adaptors and cords to fix as best they could. Special shoutout to Ryan on the front desk who was a great help to us with dinner recommendations, luggage transport, and with getting our luggage out at the end of our stay.
